Is the right map that covers your start location and area you want to cycle enabled? Are the distance and direction criteriums realistic?
Tested a few options on my Explore and it came up with three proposals each time. Even when switching GPS Off the search for routes comes out allright - it uses the last known location then (after you have confirmed that).
