Battery life is precious so I like the Battery Save Mode. However...with old eyes and occasionally bright sunshine in the UK, it would be good to have option to exclude limiting the screen brightness to 50%. I could do with 90% - 100% for the brief few seconds the screen is on. Any support for this or am I on my own?
I'm with you. I need more than 50% brightness to read the screen. When I contacted Garmin Chat about this problem I was told that this behavior is by design and that I should disable Battery Save Mode if I want more than 50% brightness. Since the entire unit is useless to me if I cannot read it, I have no choice but to disable Battery Save Mode. So now, the entire unit becomes useless to me because the battery dies before my ride ends.
