So I tried to delete two maps I do not use, using Garmin Express. Go to Manage maps and untick the ones I do not need, then process and accept.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Garmin Express says that the maps are deleted but when I open &amp;#39;manage maps&amp;#39; again, they are still ticked and are still there&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Als at the bottom of the Manage Maps screen I see a bar with the available space on my device.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The black section are the installed maps. The green section (&amp;#39;Other&amp;#39;), I do not understand. What is in it and can I clean it up?&lt;/p&gt;

My USB ports on the computer (I tried several ports) behave normally with other hardware, but there is no sign of recognition with the Garmin nor in Garmin Express nor in Windows Explorer, no USB connection beep. &lt;p&gt;Update it says, so I click update... Not enough memory it says, manage maps to create space. I manage maps, unclick the ones I don&amp;#39;t want. It goes through the process (unplug and replug in the device?!) and says completed, like its removed the maps. I go back to the update screen and I have the maps I&amp;#39;ve just removed still ticked and I can&amp;#39;t update the western Europe that I want. I try the same thing 4 times. The same every time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I go onto the device and go into the maps settings and disable the (unclearly named) maps I don&amp;#39;t want.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I go back into Garmin Express and still it won&amp;#39;t let me update the maps.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Thinking about sending it back tbh. The menus are so un-user-friendly (I&amp;#39;ve worked in IT for 35 years!). Why do I have 3 profiles including Indoor, when I&amp;#39;ll never use the device indoors. (Can&amp;#39;t remove it, only rename?).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
