Di2 connection issues on my Edge 840 (using EW-WU111 D-fly)

Anyone else having connection problems with their Di2?

I have the new Edge 840 connecting to the Di2 with a EW-WU111 in the seatpost. The connection constantly drops and then re-connects after about 20 seconds. On a 1 hour ride this morning, it must have happened around 10 times and it's very annoying!

I have checked the firmware on the e-tube app and everything is up to date.

Would really appreciate some suggestions as to how to resolve it.

If possible I would suggest relocating the EW-WU111 closer to the Edge and see if that helps

I'm not very technical, but I'm not sure that's possible, is it?

At the moment, the D-Fly connects to the battery which is located in the seatpost. Is it possible to move the D-Fly somewhere else?

(If relevant, I have the Shimano 11-speed Di2 - I think it's the R9100)

The D-fly can be placed anywhere inline in the cable run, provided you have the cables to do it. You could also just do it as a pigtail off one of the unused Di2 shifter ports with a short length of cable.
