Is it just me? Or is it because 840 is still too new?
My old head units never had such issues for previous rides.

It's not showing in my Strava either. Previous units did. Might just be too new...or a bug.
it has new device ID (the FIT file contains it, it is always a temporary issue when a new device is released) and the Strava database is still not updated and doesnt know the source (yet).
I already contacted Strava and they pushed to their engineers. May help expedite if more folks do the same.
Just ask them to add the 840 to their device database.
It is now fixed by Strava.
Evidently not for activities already uploaded. Maybe need to delete and upload those again, if it's important to you.
