edge explore

when i plug the explore into a usb port to charge it or sync it it goes off on its own ride. Now it does not physically move but it travels some 2 miles recording its trip as it goes. I then have to delete the recorded trip before I go out on a ride. It does this every time it is connected to the usb port. Is this bt design of is it a flaw in the firm ware or software. Please stop this happening it is very annoying

IDK, but it sounds like in the Activity Profile, Auto Start Mode is set to Auto, and with poor GPS reception indoors, it thinks it's moving and it starts recording. I have mine set to Prompted, so it asks me if I want to start recording rather than starting on its own.
