Garmin 820 Auto Pause will pause when I stop but starts timer before I move problem.

Garmin 820 Auto Pause will pause when I stop but starts timer before I move. I look down and the timer is running.

This kills my average speed with the timer running while I'm stopped.

Any Ideas why 820 is restarting before I move? I have Garmin speed and cadence sensors.

It used to work fine but now I have to manual stop the timer and then I forget to start it many times.

IDK, but I always set a manual auto pause speed rather than use When Stopped. I find this to be much more reliable. 3mph, 5kph can work well.

I do exactly the same, manually adjusted to auto pause at 3mph, seems to work ok.
