Hi!
I've got a Giant Power PRO powermeter since 1 year ago.
In my Edge 820 I can see some data as power, balance and cadence.
Otherwise, in the Giant app RideLink I can see Effectiveness and Smootness too.
So, why doesn't my 820 show that data?

Or the power meter is not sending it over ANT. Do they claim they do send it over ANT?
Yes, that's a possibility but it's difficult to get support from Giant for this question.
This is the reason why I'm looking for someone with this powermeter and the new series Edge 530/830.
When connected to the power meter go into the sensor details for it and see if there is a toggle switch to switch TE/PS on.
I'm not sure a 530 or 830 will solve your issue. The 820 works correctly in this respect with most all dual sided power meters. If there's a problem, I suspect it's with the power meter. If it was mine, I'd try to resolve that first.
Watch GPLama's review at around 3:50 to 4:10.
The power meter does not support TE/PS over ANT+, only over its own BLE protocol
