Edge 810

Over the last few weeks I have noticed strange/inconsistent power meter readings via my Garmin Edge 810 - efforts done on the turbo (eg. 298 watts at 40.12km/h to 332 watts at 36.63km/h) at a similar cadence 96rpm and seated.

I decided to do a factory reset on the Garmin - it can now 'see' my power meter, but when I attempt to calibrate it, it has a calibration error 0, and any power it does pick up seems to be about 150watts lower than previous (more consistent) readings I found in 2020. Pedaling in the lowest gear gives me 0 watts, and it is only when putting it in a higher gear and standing that it seems to pick up anything that looks reasonable (out of the saddle sprint at 423 watts).

Is there something I am missing or something extra I need to do in order to resolve this issue? Any ideas?

Thanks.
