garmin edge 820 won't charge.

My Garmin edge 820 won't charge. I've tried different leads but still won't charge . It's now got no charge left and has turned off.

Hard to tell, but I'd tell that either the cable is broken, or the battery is gone. The best you can do, is contacting the local support of Garmin. Well, you could perhaps try soft reset of the watch,…

my battery indicator shows red with a cross and it keeps hanging at 2%

Hard to tell, but I'd tell that either the cable is broken, or the battery is gone. The best you can do, is contacting the local support of Garmin. Well, you could perhaps try soft reset of the watch, or better yet the master reset (resetting to the factory defaults), but I think it is about all. Try borrowing a cable from a friend or a local store, to exclude it comes from there.

Just wondered what the end of this story was. Mine has also stopped charging - sent an email to Garmin but it's the weekend so looking for something else in the meantime.

Looking for answers. My Garmin 820 stopped charging this past week. I'm suspecting the USB connector as it still has charge and is working ok. Tried various cables, no workie. Will try to contact support.

I sent pictures to Garmin but they didn’t want to fix. Believe the issue is the connection. They offered me a discount on another 820 which wasn’t satisfactory. I ended up buying a new 1040 at full price.
