Hello guys, I bought a brand new specialized powermeter (power crank specialized). During rides suddenly the edge 820 looses connection from the power meter and the power goes to zero watt for seconds sometimes for minutes, the edge lost signal. I did several tries calibration, new pairing and resetting the power meter. What's the issue? Calibration is always good. I don't know if it depends on edge 820 or specialized power meter.
I wish I could offer advice. I have a Specialized Power Crank and an Edge 820 with the latest software. I've yet to have even a single dropout in the six months I've been using it.
HI Brian thanks for your experience. Today I did some tried and I found out that when cadence is over 92 rpm it drops out. I think that it depends on power cranks and not edge 820. Always over 92 rpm drops out and after few seconds Under 92 rpm it works fine! Very strange. I have tried using an edge 510 also and same issue.
