Ho installato l'ultima versione 32.20. Prima di questo aggiornamento il BIP funzionava perfettamente al superamento della FC sia Minima che Max. Ora con questa versione non mette il BIP. Ho controllato su MENU/STATISTICHE PERSONALI/ZONE DI ALLENAMENTO/ZONE DI FC/IN BASE A: ed è impostato BPM. Ho controllato MENU/PROFILI ATTIVITà/STRADA/AVVISI RICHIESTE/AVVISO FC/AVVISO FC MIN (Zona 2 impostata) AVVISO FC Max (Zona 2 impostata). C'è qualcuno che mi dice che cosa succede?

Hi, I have two cycling computers. The first is a Garmin Edge Explore 2 and the second is a Garmin Edge 550. Both have the latest software installed. The first connects to the Panasonic GX Ultimate power meter without any problems, but the second doesn't. I bought the Edge 550 for better ride statistics and I'm disappointed. Why does Garmin offer certain features in some computers and not in other newer ones?

Icons for "Running" and "Swimming" activities have changed.

After the last update 32.20, the activity icons for "Running" and "Swimming" were changed from "Runner" and "Swimmer" to simply "Human" (the colors remained - red for Running. blue for Swimming). Is this how it should be?

I don't know how to use it. On my old EDGE520 it was very simple.

Edge 530 constantly detects "jumps" while riding

Hi everyone,

I've had this issue with my Garmin Edge 530 since the day I bought it.

While I'm out riding, it constantly detects and records "jumps" even though I'm not actually jumping. A small bump, a rough section of road, or an uneven surface is often enough to trigger a jump detection.

To give you an idea, on a typical 20 km ride it may record around 30 jumps, when in reality there are probably only 1 or 2 that could genuinely be considered jumps.

Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be an accelerometer calibration issue, a software bug, or even a hardware fault? Is there any way to adjust the jump detection sensitivity or disable only the jump detection feature?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

New Garmin Edge 550 not starting, stuck on 6.16 and stops on "Loading Courses, Workouts and Locations"

I have the exact same issue as the 850 owners in thread RE: garmin edge 850 doesn't start up

I've reset my brand new Garmin Edge 550 over 10 times now. When I attempt to connect to Wifi it just says "Transfer in Progress". If I leave the device it goes to sleep and disconnects the wifi so if it was miraculously updating it stops. This is completely unacceptable Garmin...

Lose Edge 500 connection to garmin watch

Many times during a bike ride my Edge 550 stops showing the heart rate being broadcast from my Garmin Venu 3 watch. Both devices are charged to 100%. Usually the connection is lost within the first 15-20 minutes of a 2-hour the ride. It DOES NOT ever reconnect on its own. I have to go the entire rest of the 2-hour ride with no heart rate on the Edge (I have to constantly look at my watch).

Various help threads say "simply" restart the watch or restart the Edge, but of course I would have to stop the bike, cancel the ride and restart the ride data, and then all the stats (miles etc) are screwed up if I did that.Unless there's a way to reconnect the watch and Edge on the fly.

Any theories? Fixes?

Disattivare popup ClimbPro inizio/fine salita e filtrare per pendenza e lunghezza minima

In relazione alla schermata "ClimbPro":

- ho notato che fa popup anche su salite praticamente inesistenti (esempio, via Dante a Finale Ligure, ove pendenze sono meno del 1%); il popup è fastidioso perchè elimina la schermata che si stava guardando;

- anche mettendo "off" il popup automatico, fa comunque popup "inizio salita" (e non è una salita!) o fine salita su una parte della schermata che si stava guardando;

- occorrerebbe avere la possibilità di attivare o disattivare i messaggi di "inizio salita, ecc." e di fissare dei limiti minimi di pendenza e di lunghezza della salita per attivare ClimbPro, lasciando la possibilità di utilizzare quella schermata o meno.

Keeps trying to connect to smart trainer

Every time I switch to indoor training profile, it asks to pair with my smart trainer. I have this set up with TrainingPeaks Virtual, and use my power pedals to record data to my 550. It's really annoying.

Garmin Edge 550 heart rate problem when activity uploaded to Garmin Connect

Good evening all

Heart rate on actual ride does not match on Garmin connect, it is only showing my maximum heart rate as 90, what is strange is it's happening on the afternoon rides quite regular. The morning ride syncs fine with connect, as you can see on the first image,I also wear a fenix 8 and a hrm600, which is connected to my garmin edge 550

I have attached a couple of photos and as you can see the ride at 1600 is showing the wrong heart rate on garmin connect

Bugs Edge 550.Edge 550 did not control the power of the Wahoo smart trainer for most of the training (from a third-party service). For some reason, the power remained at the same level, it felt less than Edge showed. Then, in the middle of a long section, everything started working correctly (except for constant losses of connection with the trainer). In addition, if I choose automatic selection instead of power as the goal of cycling training, then after the reverse in the Garmin Triathlon Coach plan, light and basic training continue to predict the heart rate goal. This changes only if I make some significant changes to the plan settings (for example, I select or cancel strength training).

Indoor courses not loading on Garmin E550

None of the courses are loading when I try and ride on my smart trainer. This is one of the main reasons I got the Garmin.

It simply restarts every single time I load any course, whether it is a GPX file I imported or a course I've ridden in the past.

times change, the only thing that remains the same is that Garmin loses connection with sensors During the first workout, the Edge 550 lost connection with the smart trainer and did not control its resistance during the second interval. There were also several brief losses of other sensors. The second workout - again lost connection with the sensors and trainer.

The conflict between Edge 550 and Fenix 8 for Garmin Triathlon Coach has not been resolved.

I really hoped that the new series of bike computers *50 together with Fenix 8 would work correctly for Garmin Triathlon Coach plans. But everything remained the same as I had with Edge 1040. That is, by connecting to Edge 550, the training plan instead of the one I set up as: training days all except Monday; long training day - Saturday; swimming training days - Thursday and Sunday always becomes like this: training days - every day; long training days - weekends (always Saturday and Sunday); swimming training days - Tuesday and Thursday. It's pointless to fight this. I don't really understand why I sold my 1040.

Acute load not updated from Edge 550

Using my indoor trainer with wattmeter and connected pulse. All relevant data is collected and reading the exercise itself lin the unit load and training effect is stated. But its not synced to the overall acute load graphics on the unit or on Garmin Connect (or Epix 8 ) I can use both my epix 8 and Edge 550 and I see that Epix is correctly updating the chart but not Edge
