Garmin Express stuck on "refresh to check for updates"

Hello,

I'm having issues with my Edge 540 Solar and Garmin Express. It's stuck on "refesh to check for updates". Click it, icon spins, back to square one. What I've tried so far:

  • Running GE as admin
  • Reinstalling completely
  • Using a completely different PC
  • Deleting the device info xml file
  • Using different cables
  • Restoring factory settings
  • Updating Edge (twice)
  • Updating Garmin Express

It's really frustrating as it's not possible to perform map updates from the computer itself using WiFi.

Forerunner 955 works just fine.

    Seems not to be working on version 7.29.0. My device is a nüvi 2455, not the Edge 450... same issue with Express, though.
