I upgraded from an Edge 520 to a 540. Many things I'm very happy with, especially the battery capacity. But uploading a ride to the Garmin Connect app on my iPhone now takes ages - often the circular arrows have to do three separate completions before the new ride shows up - and it seems to upload only when I have the app open and active on the phone. The 520, by comparison, would upload a ride to my phone the moment it was saved, even if the Garmin Connect app was not open. Is there something I can alter in Settings, or am I stuck with a design fault?
