My previous Edge 540 (recently stolen) used to autoscale the elevation screen while not navigating to a course. This feature seems to be unavailable on new 540 (prob diff firmware version). What gives? The elevation screen is useless in Colorado, as any setting will either be too small or too large depending on ride. What is really weird is during MTB activity, I can temporarily manually mess around with vertical and horizontal scaling and get it to auto scale, but later in ride or next time I use the 540, it reverts back to fixed, useless scaling. Is there any workaround to this?
