Edge 520 Plus course upload problems

I created a new route in the connect app yesterday and tried to upload it to my Edge 520 Plus like i always do, but the connect app says the Edge is not compatible.

I restarted the app, my phone and the Edge, deleted all routes i had saved on the Edge and tried to upload other routes that i already had send to it before. The Connect app still says the Edge is not compatible…

I asked my friend and he has the same problem with his Edge so hopefully its just some Update bug that needs to be fixed ??

Same problem here. This is really frustrating and completely out of the blue, especially since I've had my Edge 520 Plus for months now and have been using it with no problems when using the app to upload courses. I hope they can fix this soon as I have a number of new courses I wanted to try, but can't upload them to the device.

Same for me too. It was working fine last week but since Tuesday morning I am getting the “not compatible” message when trying to send a course to the device. I notice that there have been several app updates this week but none of them have resolved the problem. Any news of when this will get fixed?

I did call the support team and was told that the engineers are aware of the problem and still working on it. I was also told to uninstall the app, reinstall and pair my Garmin to the app again then try sending a course to the device again. I did all this and IT WORKED! So, I can now load courses from my iPhone SE onto my Garmin Edge 520 Plus once again. Happy me
