iPhone SE displaying a "NOT COMPATIBLE" message when trying to upload a course to with Garmin Connect

Over the last 2 days I have failed to upload courses to my Edge 520 Plus from Garmin Connect on my iPhone SE. The iPhone displays a message that Edge 520 Plus is “not compatible” and will not load the course.

Has anyone else has encountered this problem and I wonder if it has anything to do with recently issued update to Garmin Connect.

The normal Bluetooth connection continues to work as normal when recording and displaying a ride.

I Tweeted directly to @GarminUK - they replied to say this is a recent issue that has been escalated to them that they are investigating further. So hoping this will be something they will look to fix…

The same issue here. I already tried to reset the Edge 520 Plus, reinstall Garmin Connect, but still I cannot upload routes throgh the Garmin Connet App. Very annoying.

I also tried deleting and re-installing the Garmin Connect app { a couple of times } and a reinstall of the Edge 520 Plus without solving the problem. Maybe Garmin can come up with a solution.

Seems to work OK with a plain 520. iPhone SE with iOS14.8 (which was only released a few days ago as well) and latest version of the GC app

I have an Edge Explore 820 and having exactly the same issue. Completely reset the device. Re-installed the app. Still showing my device as 'Not Compatible' when I try to upload courses. It left me without being able to follow a route yesterday so had to end up using my phone - very frustrating!

Just ran into this myself. I will upload via my laptop and a cable I guess. Was so convenient to create a course with the phone and then upload with Bluetooth. Glad to know I’m not crazy.

Same issue here. Can't upload any new gpx tracks to the edge cause of incompatibility. Start happening with version 4.47 of connect app

I just started having this issue as well. I’ve got an iPhone SE and tried deleting and reinstalling the Garmin connect app to no avail.

I emailed Garmin earlier today and hope to have a reply and perhaps solution to the problem soon.
