Unable to update maps

I'm unable to install 2021.10 maps version.

I think I've tried everything:

- Resetting and deleting all 520 Plus data

- Formating 520 Plus from Windows

- Unistalling device from Garmin Express and Garmin Connect phone App

- Uninstalling and reinstalling Gramin Express from PC

The process starts but during the proceess of transfering data to the device, Garmin Express gives and error message.

Same problem on my 520 plus. I think something is wrong with this update. We need to wait to Garmin fix the issue.

If you think it may have been caused by the update I would suggest reverting back to an older version. I wouldn't keep my fingers crossed that Garmin will address the problem. I was having a problem with my 520 and had multiple conversations, emails etc with Garmin and they said that they could not find anything wrong and it must be my phone losing signal. I reverted back to an older version of the software and now it works perfectly.

what can I say. it looks like garmin is overly clever with their dns settings or has other web restrictions. When I connected to an alternative ISP, the download of the update immediately started.

After several contacts with Garmin support I've been able to update the Maps.

After uninstalling Garmin Express, they asked me to:

- Access the GRAMIN folder on the 520 Plus

IMPORTANT: Do NOT delete files named: GMAPTZ, GMAPBMAP, GMAPGC y GMAPDEM.

Remove all files with names GMAPPROM, GMAPSUPP,GMAPROM,. with extensions .img / .sum / .unl

(I found 1 file)

They also asked to delete all files starting with Dxxxx.img (x are numbers) with extension .img / .sum / .unl

(I didn't find any file)

After doing that, I synced again and I got the latest maps!!

Hello, thanks for the answer, I prefer to wait and someone from Garmin tells me to delete files, its a sensitive matter. Thanks.

Hello after chating with a garmin person, doing the steps in this link https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=cTdkBfhsfL13jb6cyPuRK9&productID=621232&searchQuery=space&tab=topics and deleting the files .img .gma and .unl that didnt solve the problem. I can see you delete it other files that are not in this list. Please help me. Im desesperate now. Thank you.

Hello, I have a question. I followed your steps. And do you installed the maps after sync again with express? Or do you, after deleting the files, just synced the device with express and unplug and thats it? thanks
