Edge 520 Plus - Incorrect Time of Day, No GPS

Was able to restore gmaptz.img after sync. However, not sure I can update to correct time of day without GPS.

If you go to the system about page what does it show for the GPS version?

I assume you are using a profile where the GPS is enabled and not an Indoor profile where the GPS is disabled?

GPS version 2.50 under system-->about-->copyright info. Software version 5.70 on the same page.

Using Train under settings-->activity profiles

Additional items from my end:

1) For GPS Mode for Profile Train; Attempted GPS and GPS + GLONASS. Before it stopped working, I used glonass.

2) From Garmin Connect info, I noticed "locating satellites" started very near or on date I performed map update. After performing non-prompted non-viol clear the other day, I have not installed map update.

A non-vol clear we clear the satellite cache information so I would suggest placing the unit with a clear view of the sky and let it try for 10 minutes to get a lock.

Placed in northern and southern california clear skies. Cannot acquire sats. I can live without gps. Any wayI to hack correct PST into device? 

I don't think so on these older units. The x30 series of Edges will pull a time from WifI or the phone if paired.

Hello, Like many others I am having the same issue (uk -6hrs) does anyone have a gmaptz.img? ( I've tried debugging it as well)
