Reset

Having arranged to sell my Edge 520 I did a factory reset to clear my data but now it will not boot up beyond the splash screen. Have tried resetting again and again with same result.

Try force mounting it to a PC. Once mounted check that the Garmin\NewFiles folder is empty.

Try force mounting it to a PC. Once mounted check that the Garmin\NewFiles folder is empty.

Force to Mass Storage:

Power the device off
Press and hold the lap button while plugging into usb (with or without factory cable)
Wait 10 seconds and device should go to mass storage
