"Time of Day" display wrong

After doing a full reset on my Garmin 520 due to it locking up; the "Time of Day" is now not displaying the local time.
It is picking up the GPS all OK. So I assume the time should be automatically set to the local time.

Any ideas how to fix this?

The time zone map is missing or corrupt.
If the following file is on the Edge then delete it, Garmin\gmaptz.img.
Power cycle the Edge so that it registers the file is gone.

Syncing via Garmin Express should re-install it or you can manually just place this file in the Garmin folder on the Edge

Hi there, what should I do if the Garmin\gmaptz.img file is not present?

After a problem last Sunday, I did format the device because it was locked in the "loading profile".

Then the device was able to boot and did all initial setting once more. I've used Garmin Express to get the latest sync.

However after that, my Garmin Edge 520 is not showing the correct time and doesn't have the .imp gile.

Garmin Express should have re-installed it, but if not not you can copy it from here to your Edge.

probably You copied it to wrong folder
