I upgraded to v5.3 today & so far have had no issues. I went to look @ my Di2 page on the 520 to have a look at the new gear ratio's rather than the actual gears (which I don't like tbh). On that screen I noticed I had a "?" in my battery level, instead of a %. It was fine today before the update & was reading 60% - I check before every ride just in case ;-) . I tried recharging the battery to full, checked all the cables & even tried another battery. Everything else is displaying properly & gears are changing correctly. I suspect it has to be the Garmin v5.3 update (especially as that does change some other Di2 settings). Anyone else found the same thing?
Reselect that data field on to the training pages where you use it will fix the problem. The adding of a second battery data field for shifting units using ANT+ caused a data field mapping issue. If you re-add that "Di2 Battery" data field back to the page it should fix it.
Changed the 'Gear Ratio' data field to be expressed as the front gear size divided by the rear gear size. For example, 52-11 is now 4.7. You can now view the size expressed in gear teeth with the new 'Gear Combo' data field.
The change you're seeing was due to our most recent update. There isn't a way to revert this change, but you could always leave ideas for us to take into consideration for future updates. Submitting an Idea to Garmin
