Does the device record walking as well as cycling?

Hi I have a edge 25 device and usually use it for my cycling, however, when I dont cycle I am wanting to walk, will it record the walking as I cannot seem to alter the cycling part of the device

Also i notice a watch what looks similar to the garmin 25....or is this something very different?

The Edge 25 will record anything GPS-related. It will only record it as a cycling activity. However, after you've synced the activity you can go to Garmin Connect, then edit it to make it a walking activity.

Are you referring to the Forerunner 25?

Switch off "Auto Pause" when using it for walking. You can make a wrist band as shown here Garmin Edge 25 Wrist Band by ThomF - Thingiverse
