Will edge 130 plus keep recording when charging?

I am doing a long distance bike packing race. Will the edge 130 plus keep recording while its being charged?

Absolutely, it will "through charge" while in use. For mtb in very cold conditions I keep a "lipstick battery" mounted on my handlebars next to it. I have a thread on here that show pictures of what I did. It is a fabulous solution for me, unlimited backlight use on cold, dark winter rides. Awesome. Thank you very much. I will end up leaving the 945 at home and will have to take the edge. Just wish the edge 130 plus supported pedal dynamics like the 945 does.

Plan was to use the 945 with either an etrex or my phone. Now Ill leave the 945 behind and have to use the phone and the 130 plus.
