Garmin 130 won't turn on without usb

This is my 2nd garmin computer to stop working. Both times it has happened after not using it for a while.

Garmin customer service won't fix and just tried to sell me a new one. 

Are there any other places that fix these.

    Replace the battery! Just completed today, new battery $7, instructions on garmin forum free, 30 min of my time and done! Be sure not to bend the four gps prongs under the PCB. Easy day, now works great
