Zoom

I have a new 830 running software version 5.2.

When I set to a zoom level I like on during a ride, it zooms in (as expected) at a turn but then stays zoomed in. I have auto-zoom set to on. What am I doing wrong? My old edge touring used to return to the zoom-level I chose after a turn.

The 130 has a similar problem since one of the last updates.
Won't return to the user selected zoom level.

I have the same issue - when searching for this in here I found something in the 530 forum worth a try, i'll try it over the next few days myself..

This seems to be a work-around to permanently modify the zoom level of the map screen of an activity profile: In the main menu, select Navigation, Browse map, zoom in or out and return to menu. The chosen zoom level applies in the map data screen as well. (Remark: Auto Zoom was was set off.)
