Disable always-on backlight battery warning?

Has anyone figured out a way to disable the warning that an always-on backlight has high battery usage? It's a nice touch the first dozen times you see it, but after that you'd think the Edge would figure out that you're okay with the battery usage. It's certainly a minor pita to have to dismiss the warning every time I power on the unit.

In case anyone wants to know, yes I do want the backlight to be always on. My morning commutes are in darkness, and I want to be able to see the radar display at all times. (With a timed backlight, the display can go dark if the cars behind don't pass within the backlight timeout.) Also, I've found that a low setting doesn't really use that much battery.
