Extended Display mode and Varia RTL5xx

Does anybody know if the radar indications from a paired Varia RTL5xx will show up on the Edge 130 (or any other Edge with extended mode) when it is in extended mode?

In extended mode the radar communicates directly with Edge and not via the watch so it does work.

yes can confirm it works, though i haven't found any options for the beeps or what side of the device you want to see the incoming cars from

The 130 does not provide the control options for the radar that the more expensive Edge units do.

Hopefully the control options are to come in an update. seems pretty poor, if garmin sell the 130 unit saying it supports the Varia then not add the fairly simple options
