Edge 130 won't connect to Mac via usb

Plug my edge 130 into my mac using different usb cords (including the one that came with the edge) using different usb hubs and adapters and nothing works to connect it to my computer.

Exact same now (3/1/21). Edge 510 and Mac Mini with macOS 11.2 (Big Sur). No connect, no update, no sync.

I have a MacBook Air with Garmin Express software installed and it works great.

Did you have Garmin Express installed?

Yup, in garmin express it just keeps searching and doesn't find anything
