Edge 130 won't connect to computer via USB

Touring is fine. 130 doesn't seem to go into usb mode. I've tried holding down the lap button while plugging in but while that seems to bring up the debugging mode on the device it still doesn't appear on my mac desktop or in Garmin Express

It might be worth trying a different USB cable. Some cables are power only and are not wired for data as well.

Bingo! The USB cable supplied with the Edge 130 at least is power only ... tried a different (data) USB cable and problem solved
