VO2 calculation - Ignore outing

My VO2 max was great, training all summer, all those intervals and then I got the flu. So my first ride out, my 1050 drops by VO2 Max by 2 points. Duh !  Yes, I'm recovering from the flu.  Anyway to tell the Garmin to ignore one or more activities in the calculation ?  I know I'm not breathing well, I recovering from the f'in flu !

  • after a flu the vo2max is dropping more than 2 pts so you are still lucky . but very easy test, go all-in for 6mins (dont go with sick lungs...), and from the 6min avgpwr and your actual preride measured bodyweight it is easily accurately calculated .

it is normal, your ftp is also lower , because your entire body is weaker after a sickness.
