Di2 chain ring shifts not alerting

Are shift alerts showing up for anyone on the 1040? I have my Di2 sensor set up, and it’s on S2, but I’m getting no alerts. This happened automatically with my 1030 plus.

Correct, and I do. On my 520+, I would also get a tone alert for the synchro-shift when I shifted to the gear before the shift. Both up and down. I also got a text alert at the top of the screen for all…

There’s a tone and a text box at the top of the screen that the next shift will change the chain ring.

It’s useful if it’s there. Keeps me from spinning out shifting to the smaller ring as I know to slow my cadence.

Same. No notification chainring shifts. My 830 did it, super useful!

For those not getting tones can you tell me how the system is configured

Full Synchro Shift: your front derailleur will shift by itself when it has to
Semi Synchro Shift: when you shift the front derailleur, the rear derailleur will also shift in order to compensate
No Synchro Shift / turned off: No automatic shifts will happen. Full manual mode.

Same. Full synchro (S2) has no tones or pop up text.

Hi I'm on full syncro (shift mode 1). No tone, no text. I don't think I got the beep for no more shifts either but I can't be sure, not sure I got to bottom gear today

Thanks to all that have responded. I think it is clear that the tones are missing or incomplete for system using full synchro. Let me do so testing on my unit.
