Edge 1030 Speed Sensor

I have just replaced my 1000 with a 1030 on its own as I already have the various accessories. I have successfully paired Di2, Cadence, & Heart Monitor, but cannot get the Speed to sync, despite it being an ANT component, with a new battery, the wheel turning and the 1030 next to it!

Does anyone have a solution or recommendation. New Sensors at circa £34 which I'd rather not spend as the Ant Speed Sensor I have should be compatible & work

    Do you still have the 1000? Does the speed sensor work on that?

    I have traded In the 1000 with Garmin, but the Speed Sensor was working perfectly up to & Including the day of Trade In with Garmin

    on the 1030 It does show an ANT sensor when you try & sync in the Speed Sensor option, but just goes round & round & will not pair! I have tred closing all down & restarting but frustratingly to no avail, so far

    This initially also happened with the Cadence Sensor, but that connected up later on its own!!
