Buggy "Pair your Edge 1030 Device"

Followed all of the troubleshooting - twice - step by step.  I even deleted the app and reset the factory settings (losing ALL of my workouts).  When the phone app prompts the window "Select an Accessory", nothing comes up as an option and it forces me to retry or "Open Trouble Shooting".  Really frustrating. Great little computer - when it works- but sucks that I can't save my rides or review my analytics and performance over time.  I've seen a few videos and chats suggesting this is a "Buggy" system.  For the price I paid, I just can't believe it has not been fixed.  Earlier chat was shut when an admin said the software glitch was fixed 9 months ago? Not for me.
