Fit File - "We don't support the file type you tried to import."

Hi There

A friend of mine is having an issue with uploading a ride from his Garmin 520 to his Garmin Connect Account. All his other rides prior and post this ride have uploaded fine when synced with his phone. When I tried to import the ride through Garmin Connect on a web browser I was advised that "We don't support the file type you tried to import."

Hi Alan,

run the fit file through Fit File Tool's section remover (without removing)

import this fit file manual from within Garmin Connect Web

when this fails

with your consent we can have a look at the original fit file with FitFileRepairTool

zip the original fit file and upload here in the forum (drag & drop will work)

or provide a link to it on a cloud storage

or send via pm

Thank you OnlyTwo. I tried your instructions. It did allow an upload, but only seems to be for a 1 second ride. My friend said his ride was for 38.6 miles and for 2 hours 1 minute. He had his best ever 20 minute power. Hence his want to get this file uploaded. I've zipped it and attached as requested. Thanks again.
