Edge 1030 won't connect to connect

Edge 1030 new out of the box just wont connect to connect. followed all the troble shooting and just keeps failing to connect, stuck in the same loop!
IOS 12.4.5
My V3 works fine.
Any ideas...

Are you referring to the Bluetooth connection to your phone? Have you tried Garmin Express?

Some troubleshooting steps here that could apply to your situation.

hi, conects to the phone fine....shows up on the app but then when you start just says it fails/ cant connect
