Edge 1000 - GPS+GLONASS problem

Last 3 years, my EDGE 1000 works perfectly and I had always turned-on GPS+GLONASS by default. Last 3 days I´m facing first time with "not acquiring satellites" issue. I reset it on factory settings but it doesn´t helps.

If I use only GPS, then it finds satellite and works normally. When I choose GPS+GLONASS, it finds satellites every 10 - 15 mins for 4-5 sec. and most of time is in searching mode, without connection.

Bluetooth & WiFi is OFF by default.

It is updated on latest version v15.20.

what kind of issue do You have exactly with 1030? because i didnt experience such a glonass -> gps -> glonass lost reception problem with them (i experienced a different one which is described above with a strava analyzis graph if You scroll up) i never got answer from Garmin ...(and i experienced that problem with many devices, fenix3, 520, 820, 1000, 1030 , doesnt matter, and the used GPS setting were different also.) ah , and i noticed that with 530/830 also, which are using Sony gps chipset already, so it is not only Mediatek issue (if it is mediatek related and not a common code related in every Garmin products... for me the 2nd option is the more likely

Your official highest release is still 15.20, correct?

It's at BETA so it won't be pushed to Garmin Express. The only way at the minute is to install manually.

After 2 rides it looks stable, both in GPS-only and GPS+GLONASS modes.

Matthew, just for curiosity, was the problem the same as with professional gps survey devices? :

"This is caused by the GLONASS almanac providing out-of-tolerance data for one of the GLONASS satellites. The positioning engine in the receiver treats the almanac as accurate.
This issue has been resolved with the firmware fix which you can download through the link below. This should be distributed immediately to all affected users, as it will resolve the issue with the GLONASS almanac."

as i read , the ID 5 (Kosmos 2527) sat had/has this issue and when it was on the horizon above the user, the calculation gone mad.
