Also, in structured workouts on the watch, there is no way to move to the next set using the touchscreen because there is no touch indication (this happens when anything except “Other” and “Exercise” is selected). All of these issues were also present in the previous stable firmware version.

Forum Post: Pacing alerts all fired at end of workout

I went on a long, easy run/walk/run for my Garmin Coach Jeff Galloway plan. I setup the pacing alerts in my run activity. The watch did not trigger the 2:00 minute run alert and :30 second walk alert during the run. I had to keep looking at the watch to do it manually. Weirdly, once I hit the end of the workout, every single one of those fired immediately afterwards, vibrating for each one. There must have been 60+ alerts for almost 5 minutes, everything that was queued was flushed out. I dont know what I did wrong, but I first started the workout, and then I picked the planned navigation. The navigation points were alerting during the run.

Forum Post: RE: Still sensor reconnect problems with 31.29

The situation is now even worse. I powered the 1050 on this morning and started a ride. The repeated connect/disconnect to the eTap gearing started happening immediately, and remained like that for the entire ride. When I got home I performed a device reset from the System menu, and after completing setup through the Connect app, took the bike out for a test ride. Problem exactly as before. I then went into Sensors, removed the eTap sensor for that bike, and then searched for and added the gearing sensor again. On a short test ride, problem still exactly as before - the connection to the gearing connects/disconnects every couple of seconds. This last run was particularly bad: A large long bubble of high HR at the beginning and random spikes throughout the activity just like 27.09. It was just a steady easy run. I'm going to be returning to my external arm sensor for now. Hopefully others will share their results on this new update. Perhaps my experience was just bad luck.

Forum Post: RE: Fenix 8 MicroLED Battery Life Way Better than Advertised

Yes, I do understand what you're saying. Though these corrupted activity files don’t get synced, neither do they prevent subsequent correctly written activities from syncing so removing them just serves to keep the device clean and is not necessary for ongoing operation. The reason I’m reporting this is to make sure the developers are aware of the issue so they can hopefully look into fixing it in the code that generates these files.

Forum Post: RE: Wrong load values across activities

The level of training load depends mainly on the intensity of the workout, i.e., on the ratio of HR/HRmax. The average HR's are: - for 155 km bike ride: 119 bpm - for 45 km bike ride: 131 bpm - for 11 km run: 148 bpm I don’t know the exact formula for calculating training load, as this is a Garmin secret. But the load values of 59, 102, and 154 seem plausible given the HR's. Of course, a longer workout can tire the body more, but this fatigue isn't the same as training load.

Forum Post: RE: Improve Readability with Bold Font Option

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback.
