Others mentioned not seeing this, so I was a bit baffled. I did setup the watchface (Sand Dunes) on the previous firmware version, so thought it might have travelled over from that version. That's why I was thinking about doing a full reset to see if that helps. It's a totally different watch with a totally different set of features and functions. If it's a better fit for you, then go for it. Be aware that many of the features that it appears to share with Garmin don't actually behave/perform the same as they do on Garmin. Sometimes that's for the better, sometimes it's not. For example the UI for maps is definitely a lot smoother on the Coros, but that's because the maps lack most of the detail and functionality that Garmin's maps do. It's the same as with Amazfit... on paper it seems like it has everything the Fenix 9 has, and more, for less money. If so, that's almost for sure the problem. Almost everyone that does that seems to get tons of glitches and crashes. I bought Garmin to avoid all these technical debates in forums, reading exhausting instructions over and over, I am not a kid anymore. I wouldn't post anything here if I hadn't done all that first. -- My issue is with the Weather app, which I already sent all the details you requested me by email, also the Cloud Overlay is broken in the Map too - Last time I reset the watch, I didnt installed the back up, the Cloud Coverage Overlay worked, but it last one day only. As soon as I switched to other overlay, the Cloud Coverage stopped working and again all I got is Colored Blocks instead of Clouds. This post is 7 days old, when my frustration was at its peak. -- now am just waiting for a response about all the info I sent over 2 days ago. -- This is my second Garmin watch in the last 7 months, I had the Instinct 3 Tactical which I had to return due to unresponsive buttons and now I am facing more issues with the Fenix 8, therefore my frustration... I really like this stock Garmin watch face, but it now looks too small on the display. There is a large black area around the watch face, and I would like the layout to extend much closer to the edge of the screen and use the full available display area. Other watch faces seem to use much more of the screen, so I know the display itself is fine. I have already tried restarting the watch, deleting and adding the watch face again, changing the language and reinstalling software 6.48. Nothing changed. Is there any way to increase the size/scale of a stock watch face or make it use the full display from edge to edge? Was this watch face larger before a recent update? Another user has already mentioned that theirs was larger before the update. I really like this particular watch face and would prefer to keep using it, just with the layout filling more of the 51mm display.
