As you can see in the screenshot below, there is a spike at the beginning of the activity, and then about 10mins into the run, it drops again. This was on an "easy" run so the HR data for the first 10 mins cannot be correct surely? What could be causing this as I have never seen this on any of my activities? Think I need to bring out the good old chest HR strap.

Forum Post: Strength workout error

Was doing a strength workout and enterimg the reps and weight immediately after the set. I receive the 2nd fenix 8 : base is 15.70 -> 20.24 -> 21.39 . triangle, animation and screen ok, but I had an unrequested shutdown... for instance once. there is a clear difference of screen brightness ans white balance on the new watch ( more light and more white, the 1st one is less bright and a little warm yellow ). after the 2nd watch was set up and working ( it is fully chargin for instance), I took the 1st watch and: from 22.29 Beta, Full reset config and data, then Force downgrade to 20.24, then back to autoupdate, install the 21.39. and the Watch is only not having the animation, so, animation is still not here, but at least, it's not in beta hence, ECG and Dive is present. ( between each firmware jump I reached the hidden menu ( 8 times the light button while being in device info menu ), and selected the Software reinstall ). that's it for now on my side... I don't know if I'll have other issues with the new one.

Forum Post: RE: glances keep changing order on a watch costing hundreds in version TWENTY-SIX of the firmware

There has been historically issues with *Garmin Express* rearranging things on syncing (it does have this explicit facility but sometimes it's got a mind of its own, and there might some interaction between Express and Connect). A couple of recent updates claim to have addressed it. I've experienced this issue in the past but not very recently. GE release notes: Garmin Express v7.28.1 is available for PC today. If you would like to update to the latest version, please visit “About” within the Settings of the Express application and select “Check for Updates to Express.” This version includes the following changes: Addressed an issue with Edge x40 devices stuck in a boot loop state Previous Versions: 7.28.0 Removed the ability to edit the birthdate in the add device flow. Fixed an issue with the old map image file not being removed for map updates on SD cards. Addressed a crash that could occur when downloading a software update due to bad data being returned. Other minor bug fixes and improvements. 7.27.1 Fixed an issue with the Pin Lock banner not displaying. Fixed an issue with devices in Garmin mode not being detected. Fixed an issue with widgets being re-ordered after a sync. 7.27.0 Added support for the Rally 110/210 Fixed an issue with device software versions displaying incorrectly. Fixed an issue with Glances and Activity lists being moved or reset on devices after a sync with Garmin Connect.

Forum Post: RE: Glances Lag on 14.14

[quote userid="1226990" url="~/outdoor-recreation/outdoor-recreation/f/instinct-3/436185/glances-lag-on-14-14/2031443"]Yes, same issue here, takes about 2-3 seconds after button press to start showing glances.
