Hi,

A few months ago I bought this watch mainly because of the unique Race App functionality. It was working great on this 23.10 software. I updated the watch recently with 23.80 software and the Race App complete stopped working. After pressing the Race App I see this IQ? logo! Who has the solution? Garmin Support is on it for more then a week and there is no slotion yet! Beta Version is also not the solution. Today I updated it to the latest 23.82 Beta version but also this has no result... My question: who knows the right solution! Thanks for reading. Cheers, Jan

Good afternoon Jan,

I´m also user of a Marq Driver for the same reason. I noticed few days ago (I was already on v.24.10) how the app was unable to run, so I reported to Race app developer, but no response as for the moment.

I got to your post, 2 months since you wrote it. I can´t afford such a long time for an official answer, so I took the "risk" to instal the alpha version 24.78.

Same behaviour...So i decided to downgrade it to 23.00. Now it runs successfully.

STEPS:

1. Download software from official site:

https://forums.garmin.com/beta-program/fenix-6-series/f/announcement/308277/alpha-version-23-01 and your model -> MARQ

2. connect to your computer,

*On windows based computers it will appear on MiPC

*On MAC OS based computers its necessary to use a third-party software to mount the drive.

3. Upload the file to your device

4. Disconnect from the computer, it will detect and prompt the available file, so you can proceed.

5. After aprox 15 minutes, the process will end and your device will look as factory reset, time to set up and pairing

6. Enjoy it!

As by the moment it´s not solved, I´m deactivating auto updates.

Hi,

Thanks for all info. I already returned the watch to the store. If they can solve it in cooperation with Garmin it is fine. If not I will have a full refund. I just want to keep my watch updated without any hassle.

The issue is resolved when the Race APP is updated to version 2.20.00 (released 1/5/23)

I am sorry the Race APP stopped working due to an issue with the v24.10 software update. It will get resolved in the near future but it looks like you have already returned your watch. Happy New Year to you.

Hi, I did that more than one months ago and no answer or solution by the developers app team. A lot of negative reviews in Garmin IQ app and the answer of Garmin is 0. Please can you do anything about it, there are many people affected.
