MARQ - 6.74 Beta Release

Hello MARQ customers,

The newest MARQ beta software is now available for your upcoming adventures! The beta below is not compatible with Marq Aviator.

6.74 Change Log Notes:

  • Made several improvements to the DogTracker widget and on device experience. This includes: New Tracker Map, Pro View, and Compass pages.
  • New Alert options on device. (DogTracker Widget)
  • Added a new digital watch-face option which displays minutes as the large value in the center.
  • Added support for Low Heart Rate Alerts. (Wrist Heart Rate > Heart Rate Options > Abnormal HR Alert)
  • Updated the look and feel of Clocks to provide a more condensed version of the information at a glance.
  • Enabled Swim Pace Alerts for Pro/Sapphire models.
  • Brought in improvements for CIQ.

We have temporarily removed in-activity data field editing in this beta. We have identified a few bugs and while they are difficult to reproduce, we do not want our customers to experience these issues. When these bugs are resolved, this feature will be added back in to software.

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

  • All, we are eager to hear your feedback on Optical Heart Rate performance with the new 4.11 Sensor Hub version installed. We’d love for this feature to be as accurate as possible. If you are still experiencing accuracy issues with OHR after installing this beta update, we would like to collect some information from you to investigate further. If you encounter issues, please email a report to [email protected]. In your email, please include the following details:

    • Please make the subject of the email: Fenix 6 - HR Feedback - your first name
    • Under what circumstances did you encounter poor HR performance?
      • e. indoor cycling activity, all-day tracking, hiking, etc.
    • Please attach the following files to your email
      • The relevant activity .fit file, if the issue occurred during an activity
      • The GarminDevice.xml from the Garmin folder
      • The Settings.fit file from Garmin\Settings
      • All files in the Garmin\Monitor folder
      • Any pictures/screenshots/links to information in Garmin Connect that help explain the issue
    • Please also let us know if we have permission to access your Garmin Connect account. This will allow us to investigate your report faster, if we identify that other data is necessary for investigating. You do not have to grant us this permission, but doing so will allow us to be as thorough as possible in our investigation.
