Resting HR Help

Hi guys,

I have my hear rate zones set up on Garmin connect using % reserve and it syncs to my Edge for cycling and Watch for Running ( if I ever run LOL )

Now on the watch, if you navigate to settings - User Profile - Heart Rate you will see an option called resting hear rate and when you click on it it give you 2 more options, use custom or use average. If I select use average, will that auto update if my average changes? and will those changes auto push to Garmin Connect?

I ask because on Connect I have set up 66 as my resting and the watch on resting average shows 65 but on connect itself you have to manually add the number since it does not auto detect.

That is where I am 200% confused jajaj

I'm not aware that the resting heart rate is adjusted irrespective of what method you choose initially. As a matter of course I set my RHR in GC interweb and don't worry about it anywhere else. I've always preferred to have my heart rate settings on the interweb and have them filter down from there rather any expectation that they'll synch up from the watch.

Other might think different.
