I happen to own two Garmin MARQ Gen 2 Carbon Edition watches. (Commander and Golfer)
One of them shows the complete device name on Strava activities which is "Garmin MARQ Commander (Gen 2) Carbon Edition".
The second watch shows a truncated device name which is "Garmin MARQ (Gen 2)" instead of its full name which is "Garmin Marq Golfer (Gen 2) Carbon Edition"
I reached out to Strava support and this was their response:-
Thank you for contacting Strava. It appears that Garmin reuses this identifier for multiple related watches. Unfortunately, we won't be able to specify this device name on activities,
I want to ask if this descripancy can be fixed?
