thank you all for your input/help. Factory reset worked so far as i hoped, I now have after a full night and a normal day 89% left as battery. So if nothing changes when i alter settings i'm very satisfied…

Wow, that is to much. Do you use a custom watch face. Try to switch to a stock version and see if it gets better.
hi,
no completely stock. But it was normal until i run the update last week to 10,44. Maybe one of the settings for sleep has been poorly updates. yesterday charged to 100% at 23hrs, waking up at 7 gives me back 38%. So thinking of turning off Pulse Ox or something like that for the night to see what happens.

If your fast battery drain continues, please do not hesitate to either return your watch immediately from where you purchased it if you are within their return period or if you bought it directly from us, reach out to Outdoor Product Support in your region to have your watch warranty replaced new-for-new.
- Why is My MARQ Collection (Gen 2) Watch Battery Draining Quickly?
Is there a reason a custom watch face uses more battery then a stock face, if there are few fields besides the time?
It depends on how many data fields the Connect IQ watch face is pulling from within your watch and how often. Also, if there are any software issues with a 3rd party Connect IQ watch face, it can cause a fast battery drain issue. Taking into account what I have seen across all generations that support Connect IQ, it is infrequent for a Connect IQ watch face to be the cause but it is a recommended step to always remove the watch face to be able to rule it out as the faster than normal battery drain cause.
Hello Chris,
thank you for response. I ahve just reset to factory settings, so we now have to wait and see what the outcome will be in the morning. After resetting however, i cant get it back to connecting with my iphone. Rebooted teh watch and the phone, deleted the watch from iconnect, but even though it sees it, it wont fully connect. It hangs on the same info still. Do i forget something here?
Try the following steps:
99% of the time, it is step #2 in the 5 steps @philipshmabrook provided that is the cause of Bluetooth re-pairing issues after a watch is reset. I hope you are successful and your battery drain issue resolves for you. If either you cannot get your watch to pair again or the fast drain continues, please do not hesitate to reach out to support in your region.

Thank you all, i can continue to enjoy my new gadget again.
