I ran across this set of Warning and Notice in the Marq Aviator (Gen 2) Owner's Manual:
Evidently, magnets are contained in BOTH the watch case and the charger cradle. And further, these magnets are evidently strong enough to be a potential concern if placed too close to medical devices, LAPTOP HARD DRIVES, and other electronic devices.
I assume (i.e. maybe correctly, maybe incorrectly) that Garmin have taken the presence of a powerful magnet in the watch case into account when managing Compass calibration, but is it still a concern?
Anyone with a MARQ (Gen 2) have any experience with magnetic interference?
Am I blowing this out of proportion?
Anyone care to talk me off the ledge?
TIA
