MARQ (Gen 2) Display Resolution vs. Epix (Gen 2)

Comparing the specs for the MARQ (Gen 2) and the Epix Sapphire Black Titanium, I found the MARQ Aviator (Gen 2) has a display resolution of 390 x 390 pixels whereas the Epix (Gen 2) Sapphire - Black Titanium has a resolution of 416 x 416 pixels. That works out to about 13% more pixels on the Epix.

I own the Epix and am considering the Marq.

Has anyone with eyes on both models observed a noticeable difference in the display resolution between the two models?

Marq 2 also has a smaller screen at 1.2” vs the epix 2 at 1.3, so the pixel density is probably similar and any difference would be in the amount of content visible

tl;dr you don't notice it.

I have both. As acousticbiker says, the screen on the MARQ is smaller so the pixel density is pretty much the same. As for the (slightly) reduced screen size, when you put the two watches next to each other, it's more the size of the watches themselves that is noticeable. Even though the Epix case is only slightly larger, the size difference seems bigger than it really is just because of the different designs. However, for the screen size itself, you don't really notice any difference and there's no perceivable lack of space or reduction in content.

How does the domed (vs flat) sapphire impact visibility?

Can't say I've ever noticed it makes a massive difference (based on Fenix -> MARQ original -> Epix 2 -> MARQ 2) - it looks more premium on the watch, but I don't think it makes much practical difference when it comes to visibility of the display.

I have the Marq Adventurer Gen 2 and the Epix Gen 2 and I don't see a difference. I have been wearing both daily and I think it's not noticeable. at least for me.

I notice. Had a Fenix before with flat glass, witch reflects the sunlight a lot more under wide angle. It becomes a mirror and prevents reading the time. With the mark I can read the time very easy even under wide angles in direct sunlight. It’s fantastic, as it’s almost as easy to read the time as it would be from a traditional watch face.
