GPS Watches with daylight-viewable screen like Instinct

I have an instinct watch which I use for measuing my walking every day. One thing I like about it is that the screen is generally readable without a backlight, in normal daytime light.

I bought a fenix, because I wanted to try out the pulse ox sensor.

Very disappointed, as the backlight is nearly always required.

Are there any other garmin GPS watches with a screen like the instinct that is visible in normal daytime light, without a backlight?

I actually didn't realize that the Solar Instinct had more features than the Instinct (beyond solar).

What type of Fenix have you bought? Garmin usually uses tranflective LCD:

Color version has lower contrast than black & white version. I do not know how the color version looks like in high magnification, I suppose that it has divided pixels to RGB elements. But I am not sure why the B&W image on such display has lower contrast than image on pure B&W display.

Yes, for example Instinct Solar - it already has the PulseOx sensor, if it was the only reason for the change

The thing is, regardless of the model the pulse ox sensor is not considered very accurate.. I mean if you really need this particular feature you may be better off with a clip on finger pulse ox meter.
