Saved location problem

Lately when I long press the GPS button to save a location it save it no problem on the watch. but after I sync with Garmin explore on my phone the location is getting deleted on it's own is there anyone else having the same problem ?

Hi, My local dealer had advised me to reset the watch. It worked.

remember to back up your data before resetting. I forgot the key words for the thread, but there’s one in the forum which explains how…

I returned the watch while on version 7.00, so can’t check now, but yes, it happened me twice in 3 test hikes.

Saved position and nothing appeared on the watch nor on Explore app. That’s another reason why I returned the instinct.

I don’t use Garmin explore (I use ViewRanger instead) so I can’t comment on that but locations are fine when I sync with ViewRanger.

I have the same Problem on my Garmin Instinct. They save the 5 newest locations and forget the older ones. I hope that someone of the development devision will read this and we get an answer!

I have similar issue. But I’m not sure which firmware has caused the problem.

Even after I have saved my location using either “gps” or “dual grid”, the “the saved locations” function still shows “no saved location”.

I contacted my local dealer and they have relayed my situation to Garmin . Still waiting for their reply.

Yep, same for me. It seems I have no more saved location. And I can’t mark new one
