Batterie dies and no USB connection

Hi, my Instinct which I bought at Decembre 2018 drives me crazy. Since ond day the battery lifes only 4 hours instead 10 days. I thought maybe it is the new firmware (5.50) the reason, but I could not get a connection from PC's via garmin express anymore... is there a possibility to get in UDB mode anyhow else?

Garmin Germany changed my old watch within 5 days to a new one (with frer of charge)! Great support!

So replacing the unit fixed the battery issues? My watch used to last close to two weeks between charges. Then one day all of a sudden the battery would only last 2 days maximum. I have not changed the settings or changed my routine. In the process of requesting a replacement.
